Dr Zorina Dharsey
Director
Zorina has led the PSP as Director since 2012. A qualified educator, with a PhD (Curriculum Studies: teacher development and science teaching in primary schools) from Stellenbosch University, she honed her considerable pedagogical and teaching skills at Fairview Primary School in Grassy Park, Cape Town, where she taught for over 23 years. Joining PSP as a Science and Maths facilitator in 2008, Zorina has energetically promoted practical teaching and learning and swears by the motto, ‘every child can do Maths’. Under her leadership PSP continues to strive to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
Zorina has two sons, and two young grandsons with whom she delights in sharing her love of Science and Maths.
